Our self-worth is not who we know or what we know. Our self-worth is in what we do.

About This Quote

When we look upon ourselves as worthless or uncomfortable with who we are or who we were, then that’s how we feel. This is the only way that we can feel. We can know all of the things that we would like to be, but if we do not act in a way that reflects the person that we know, then the people around us will never see it. When you make a choice to act in a way that reflects who you know yourself to be, you will start to feel more comfortable.

If you act like someone else, you will start to loathe yourself because you will always be doing something wrong leading to unhappiness and anxiety. People who know they are good at something tend to do it well and even if they don’t always get recognized for all of their hard work, they don’t care; they feel good about themselves and their choices help them accomplish their goals.
